Title How China's Coal Enterprise Shrinks Carbon Emissions: A Case Study of Tashan Circular Economy Park

Abstract China is the world's largest consumer and producer of coal. China is confronted with a dilemma of balancing economic growth with environment protection. This article uses the first Circular Economy Park for coal industry to discuss the strategies that China's coal enterprises have utilized to shrink their carbon footprints. Through the use of two circulated economic industrial chains involving "coal-electricity-building materials" and "coal-chemical industry" to reduce, reuse, and recycle resources, the Tashan Circular Economy Park has achieved significant energy conservation and CO2 emission reduction. It has provided a "Chinese definition" of low carbon for coal enterprises.
