Abstract The circular economy is a kind of economic growth mode that accords with the theory of sustainable development and the green marketing reflects the inherent requirements of the development of circular economy. In the performance evaluation of the green marketing of circular economy, the neural network model of the performance evaluation of the enterprise green marketing has been established through combining the artificial neural network technology with the subjective evaluation method of the level analysis in this paper. The model takes the expert evaluation results as the input of neural network and the inverse propagation neural network is employed to train and test the evaluation results. The simulation results have shown that this model can not only fully absorb the implicit knowledge and the experience of expert evaluation, but also reduce the defects of the subjective arbitrariness. The calculation results are accurate, the method is feasible, the error can be controlled
