Title Innovation for a Sustainable Low Carbon Built Environment
Year 2017
Published
Abstract The need to rapidly transition to more sustainable low carbon built environments in Australia and internationally provides the basis for a maturation of the green economy. Its principal client will increasingly be cities, their industries and resident populations. Decarbonisation, dematerialisation and zero waste are core objectives. Regenerative retrofitting and re-shaping of cities is an associated planning challenge. This presentation will focus on innovation pathways associated with new technology, urban design, urban governance and household behaviours that are central to this transition. (C) 2017 The Authors.
