Title Remote Sensing Data usage for Smart City Greening Strategy Planning
Year 2021
Published
Abstract Problem of city planning today is very actual and it's solving require use of state-of-the-art remote sensing technologies for the achievement of the sustainable urban environment. In this paper we propose the new approach for smart city greening strategy planning optimization with use of satellite data based on the best practices of remote sensing technologies usage. This approach take into account Remote sensing indices such as Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, Land Surface Temperature, Building Density, Tree Density, land cover/use and it's trends. Based on this indicators it is possible to classify urban atlas's (cities digital plane with CORINE-based classification) polygons on 4 classes: zones with highest priorities for planning changes and this changes can be made using greening strategy, zones with highest priorities for planning changes and this changes can not be made using greening strategy, zones with second priorities for planning changes, zones with sustainable indicators. This approach demonstrated on the Irpin city analysis.
