Abstract | This paper proposes a mathematical model of residential community opening up strategy for smart city. The model is an improved U.S. Bureau of Public Roads (BPR) model which additional considers the factors: pedestrian, bicycle and non-motorized vehicle. The model evaluates the traffic time after communities' opening up. Finally, this paper gives some instances and analysis of four different kind of selected communities. The results show that our model can gives a reasonable strategy and help policymakers to make right decisions. |
