| Abstract | In this paper we will demonstrate how a science fiction storyboard was used as a means for delivering and discussing future technology and design innovations. We present a case in which an illustrated storyboard exemplified the interactions of an experienced-centered technology design concept - a winter caretaking system for a smart city and two devices that could assist its citizens. In the science fiction introduced, the emphasis is on the experience-centered design approach, particularly experiences relating to nurture, sympathy and control. |
