Abstract |
The aim of this article is to investigate a new system for the smart city vertical market, highlight the smart city vertical market's vitality, and promote smart city development. While constructing smart cities under the support of IoT, cloud computing, and the Internet, smart cities' vertical market system is modeled from the economy's viewpoint. The model's security and confidentiality are analyzed via simulation. The details on the vertical market are explored from the economic perspective. System performance analysis proves the built system's security performance for data transmission under six different channels. From the vertical market's perspective, the total joint operation mode sales exceed those of self-operation mode. The sales volume of every supplier is lower than the self-operated retailer. From the operating costs' perspective, self-operated retailers have the advantage of higher retail prices and lower unit operating costs compared to joint-operated suppliers. Therefore, the built system has good stability, and the self-operated retailers have more advantages from the vertical market perspective, which can provide an experimental reference for the construction of smart cities and economic development in the future. |
