Abstract The article considers the methodological and practical foundations of the constituent relationships in the tourist destination. Intellectual technologies cover almost all aspects of life these days, although they are often taken for granted. The tourism industry has become one of the most active entities using the latest IT technologies in order to increase the volume and quality of services provided, and to increase its efficiency. The key elements of the relationship are defined in accordance with the concept of smart tourism at the regional level. Analysis, comparison and synthesis of the most effective mechanisms of regional relationships that form a complex of smart tourism have made it possible to identify key aspects of the communication core of a smart destination.
