Abstract | Smart City is built on networks of Internet of Things (IoT) and sensors. Calibration is important to ensure correct operations of the sensors which in turn improve the reliability and safety of the whole system. The Standards and Calibration Laboratory (SCL) had developed various calibration services for the local industry to disseminate measurement traceability. Information on some of these calibration services have been published in the literature before. In this paper, automation of the calibration methods for electrostatic discharge (ESD) generator and ultrasonic flaw detector (UFD) are presented.
