Title Security Analysis of a Smart City Traffic Control System using a Threat Model-based Approach
Year 2023
Published
Abstract In recent years, smart cities have become more commonplace, with technologies such as smart traffic control systems and outdoor sensors widely used in many places. However, there are numerous security issues that threaten the safety of such systems. It is important to analyze the security of such systems in order to make them robust and ensure the security of smart cities. Threat modeling is a process used to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in a system. In this paper, we will develop a threat model and security analysis for a smart traffic control system. This analysis and the threat model will allow researchers and developers to identify security issues in smart city traffic control systems and develop effective mitigation strategies.
