Abstract | The article discusses new smart technologies for monitoring and controlling road traffic in the city of Almaty. It is shown that themegapolis has specific features in automating the processes of controlling themovement of vehicles. They are connected with the polycentricity of the city and a number of mutually intersecting traffic flows in the central part of Almaty. The algorithms and applications presented in the article for the AnyLogic PLE environment open up practical opportunities to predict, based on an event-probabilistic simulation model of traffic, the dynamics of the development of congestion processes with a few hours ahead of time. |
