| Abstract |
Due to the observed dynamics of the development of projects implemented for the needs of Smart City and Smart Lighting, communication standards used for the needs of the Internet of Things are becoming key. The article compares and critically evaluates communication standards used in Smart Lighting systems. The existing and under development communication standards were assessed. The emphasis was placed on wireless solutions, as they seem to be more prospective, but due to the increase in the operational reliability of the lighting management system and the reliability of the communication infrastructure, it is proposed to use hybrid (wireless and wired) communication solutions |
