Title Reconfigurable Sensor Node Applied to LoRa Networks
Year 2022
Published
Abstract In the last few years, there has been a growth in smart devices, which has allowed the emergence of intelligent networks and Smart Cities. These have based their success on the use of technologies such as LPWAN. Despite this, existing devices are usually developed for a specific use, limiting their application. This paper proposes a reconfigurable sensor node, adaptable to different applications, to be handled by a common user. In this way, the reconfigurable sensor node becomes suited, not only for prototyping, but also for temporary and specific applications, such as acquiring and transmitting information about works on the public road. To validate the proposed reconfigurable node, a prototype was created and tested using an Arduino as the implementation platform, a LoRa RYLR896 antenna, and a set of sensors.
