Abstract |
#Smartcitizens is an interactive exhibition project that explores the concept of smart cities, placing the focus on citizenship, since there are no intelligent cities without intelligent citizens. The exhibition, developed in 2013, posed a reflection on the characteristics that may define Intelligent Citizenship. After its exhibition in the old Palace of Telecommunications, in Madrid, it was considered open source, so other groups could take advantage of it and create their own versions of this copyleft exhibition, leading to a collaborative process (# SmartcitizensCC) that allowed to establish collectively a definition of Smart Citizens. |
