| Abstract | The ICDOI ("Inner-City Distribution of Interest") procedure described in this paper uses "Knowledge Discovery from Text" to identify thematic focuses and trends from texts written in different locations in a city. Among other techniques, topic recognition and machine-based derived word associations are used. |
