| Abstract | We develop a new interactive visualization system to support the visualization of different aspects of a region as well as querying and analyzing similar land uses. The main contributions of this work include an urban region query framework and an analysis of using the social media and traditional census data to identify similar areas. Two example potential applications of our system are given as follows: (1) Our system can be employed by city planners to analyze and observe identical land uses, assisting them in making development objectives; (2) Our system can also be used by business owners to observe similar urban regions for potential areas of expansion. |
