| Abstract | This paper shows the architecture proposed in the research project Urbaneyes, developed at the Universidad Autonoma de Occidente. Urbaneyes focuses in design and development of a platform to collect and manage information that could be of physical variable sensed in different sites of the city like temperature, noise level, solar radiation, etc.; or information reported by citizens like traffic, thefts or accidents. This architecture is the base of the platform which will facilitate the development of software that requires data processing and analysis to improve services offered in Santiago de Cali. This project has two strategic allies. the telematics office of city hall, that provide access to information systems of the city, and one NGO called Ciudadanos Activos, which has developed a social network of people willing to share information to improve the city. |
