Abstract Due to the widespread use of sensors, the creation of a smart city requires proper methods of data collection, which can be further analyzed to provide several services in a smart city. This article discusses the IoTDM service software architecture, also defines entities that, according to oneM2M specifications, are used to create a tree of Internet of Things resources as local servers for resource allocation in a smart city.
