| Abstract |
The search for improvement in competitiveness through the participation in Business Clusters (BC) finds in literature endorsement of the efficiency of such model. However, a lack of theories with this focus has been identified, particularly one that identifies strategies that result in threats to the model. Based on these aspects, the purpose of this study was to present a theoretical discussion concerning the factors that jeopardize the survival of BC. A bibliographic database was developed under the scope of competitiveness and life cycle of the BC. As a result, 14 factors that threaten the sustainable competitiveness of the BC were identified. |
