| Abstract | The practice of Social Responsibility is a topic in evidence, an indication that imposes new challenges in business management, through which companies are encouraged to adopt a new stance related to issues linked to ethics and the quality of relationships with their stakeholders. Thus, this article seeks to analyze Corporate Social Responsibility practices and the respective communication process of these actions by an agricultural company, located in the northwest region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, considering the first dimension of the categories of Carroll's three-dimensional model (1979), which includes economic, legal, ethical, and discretionary responsibilities. To respond to this concern, field research was carried out based on a script of structured questions, with the purpose of collecting information about these practices and their communication process. The results indicate that the company practices Corporate Social Responsibility, taking into account economic, legal, ethical, and discretionary requirements. Regarding the communication process, although still in its infancy, the company recognizes its importance for disseminating the actions carried out and has been investing in expanding its dissemination. |
