Abstract The implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, the new era of Industry 4.0. is introduced. Further, we are facing new challenges with fast changing market requirements and strong global competitors. With the help of IoT the traditional factories are changing their manufacturing system to highly flexible and reconfigurable one and factories are becoming smart factories. The benefits of this production are seen in customized products that are produced more effectively, efficiently and more profitable. Furthermore, with the help of big data feedback and coordination options, manufacturing routes and other resources are improved. However, without good enterprise architecture it is demanding to achieve business success. In order to complete full integrity in an architecture it is important that an architecture description is encoded in a standard language, Finally, with choosing the right IoT application model for IoT architecture you are bringing considerable advantage to the design of complex systems aligned with modern software engineering.
