Abstract This study develops a service quality assessment system, based on the SERVQUAL, to assess the existing service performance of interior design companies. A real case study from interior and architecture experts is applied to conduct the service quality improvement processes. The result reveals that the proposed approach can be provided a guideline for companies seeking to improve sustainable business advantages and would be an effective decision tool for interior design company strategy optimization.
