Abstract | The new business models, new technology, and innovations are the key pillars of organizational sustainability and profitability in any sector. Increasing industrialization and high competition among the firms create challenges to grow potentially and sustain it. The "best of technological solutions" and "enactments of new laws" are the key driving factors for sustainability in high-technology manufacturing industries in any country. The growth of electronics manufacturing industries (EMI) is very crucial for India and the government policies influencing the sector need proper interrogation for economic growth. This study explores the key factors to drive sustainability in EMI sector in India through the Political, Economic, Social and Technological (PEST) and Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threat (SWOT) analysis. The findings suggest some internal and external factors which would be necessary for the growth of electronics manufacturing sector in a sustainable manner and to contribute effectively to Make in India campaign toward the nation building. |
