Abstract | Auto loan guarantee insurance starts late in our insurance business. In 1998, to expand its market share, insurance company launched auto loan credit (guarantee) insurance. This tripartite cooperation model (banks, insurance companies, car dealers) promotes the rapid development of automobile consumption credit. The volume of auto loan credit (guarantee) insurance business got a rapid growth in 2001 and 2002, which made tremendous contributions to the development of China's automobile industry. But after the rapid growth, this market has experienced "two high " phenomenon of high loss ratio and high overall rate of danger in the claims. Insurance companies and financial institutions therefore suffered serious losses. In 2004, most insurance companies opt out this market and the market has failed to recover. From a macroeconomic point of view of development, it is very embarrassing to see the auto loan guarantee insurance business is shrinking with the rapid development of China's automobile market and a steady increase in per capita GDP. Under this background, the insurance industry should research: how the insurance companies take measures to prevent the risk of auto loan market, to maintain healthy and rapid development of the auto insurance market. The thesis consists of four chapters: The first chapter is the analysis of automobile consumption credit market on the China. From the relevant data and forecasts we can see Chinese auto market has great potential. But the auto consumption credit is still in its infancy in China, compared with developed countries, automobile credit market has enormous development space and potential in China, and it will be a "future automobile market big cheese". The second chapter focuses on the analysis of China's current three important ways of automobile consumption credit: auto financing company, automobile credit card payment, and car consumption loans. Then the analysis of insurance companies in the several modes of action: the function and existing problems. The third chapter: Analysis the demand of consumers and lenders in the automobile consumption credit market, we can see that if the risk(lending institutions cannot get loans) and consumer costs owing on the loan can reduce, then the car credit market can get sustainable development. The fourth chapter mainly introduces the model of the "silver business insurance" cooperation, analysis the feasibility of this model and the measures of insurance company. |
