| Abstract | Governance and sustainability are two aspects aimed at providing organizations with managerial tools that enable efficient management with the articulated participation of the nation-state, private enterprise and civil society. The research aims to explain these two constructs as factors that drive efficient public management. It is established as a research framed in a holistic paradigm or of integrated understanding, making possible the unification from phenomenology, structuralism and rationalism; it is an explanatory type of research, under a non-experimental, contemporary, documentary, bibliographic, bibliometric, descriptive and cross-sectional design. The main finding shows that efficient public management is called to be a weighted application in correspondence with governance and sustainability in order to guarantee well-being, prosperity, equity, justice and social peace, from wherever it is seen. |
