Abstract The Circular Economy is a model of environmental operation that converts the classic linear production cycle into a circular one, so that from the design of the product and the conception of all the processes of the productive cycle, productive efficiency and the effective use of materials are internalized and energy. The environmental success of the practical implementation of this model arose from whether it is used in the first order to reduce the negative impacts on the environment of the current production models or instead it is preceded by a process of indiscriminate overproduction encouraged by the cost savings of the model. In Cuba it is essential that a future strategy be projected that puts this circular production model into practice, as is the case of the chemical industry sector and within it mainly the food industry. The objective of the research is to apply Circular Economy in the Escambray Dairy Company. As a result, the main opportunities to be implemented in the factory will be lost: Increase efficiency and savings in energy consumption, Assess the search for solutions in the Circular Economy for the waste generated in production, and extend the useful life of products.
