Abstract |
Industrial Symbiosis promoted by a web platform is considered as a promising way to apply circular economy concepts in which valuable resources (water and minerals) are recovered from wastewater flows and reused by industries. This paper introduces a web platform (Online Brine Platform) as an active web service aiming to promote the flow of secondary raw materials derived from saline effluents. The methodology followed for the design of the tool and the system architecture are also described. |
