| Abstract |
The objective of this research was to conduct a documentary review that highlights the importance of the innovative culture in the petrochemical industry, focused on the preservation of the environment, seeking sustainability and attached to the recent boom of the circular economy. The approaches highlighted in relation to innovation in this sector were: customer and market orientation, internal and external collaboration, knowledge management, risk -taking, and leadership and commitment. Due to the relevance of this industrial sector, on which other industrial sectors depend, the orientation towards an innovative culture in the petrochemical industry will contribute to its promotion and, in turn, to sustainable development. |
