| Abstract |
The present paper aims to evaluate organizations' sustainable development (SD) tools and models. In the first part, the paper addresses the tools used for SD and presents their implications and definition. The SD is addressed by organizations from different fields of activity and is a challenging business environment at national and international level. The implications of organizations in this approach contribute to increasing the level of competitiveness of organizations. It is an optional approach that engages stakeholders to make real decisions. This approach is based on a number of approaches, depending on the researchers' vision. The paper presents an inventory of these approaches. At the end of the paper a business model for sustainable development is proposed. This model integrates tools and concept definition. At the end of the paper are presented the findings of the research. |
