| Abstract |
This paper explores methods used to encourage uptake of environmental management initiatives by small to medium enterprises (SMEs). Lack of knowledge on the advantages of environmental management systems and inefficient energy and resource planning leading to lost resources are cited as primary causes of SME contribution to global pollution. The study proposes a clear and simple method using a self-directed online toolkit of energy and waste management tools can increase SME engagement with Circular Economy models of business planning. |
