| Abstract |
The article deals with the wood processing industry in Slovakia in the context of the implementation of methods, tools and principles of quality management systems. These systems enable organizations to achieve better economic results through an effective quality improvement process associated with the reduction of non-productive costs. The article presents the results of the research carried out in the period 2020-2022, the aim of which was to examine the impact of the implementation of quality management systems on the performance of enterprises in the woodworking sector. |
