Abstract |
Circular economy arises as a potential alternative solution to the current problem of intensive resource consumption and as consequence, massive waste generation. Circular economy is trying to close the circle through the maximum reuse and minimum recycling of products at end of its life. The circularity concept could be applicable to many sectors, and in particular the objective of this research is to increase the knowledge trying to get a greater depth on the specific practices of circularity appliedwithin a sample of textile companies. This study tries to analyze the circularity initiatives and practices in a sample of four textile companies. From the study carried out it can be inferred that this group of textile companies are adopting clear practices in search of circularity, nevertheless each company is at a different step of circularity level and using different ways. |
