| Abstract |
This qualitative and descriptive research focused on two objectives: To know the achievements and lessons from modern management in the last decade and to analyze their relationship in a systemic context. The methodology followed the pRisMA guide, using search strings and applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, which allowed the identification, screening, and selection of 50 articles for subsequent review and synthesis. The results highlight the importance of sustainable management as an essential element to achieve competitive advantages, especially when integrated with adaptive management approaches and circular economy principles. The challenge that agile management represents concerning people-centered practices and strategic management is also highlighted. In this context, the need to integrate management information and quality management systems into a unified management system is emphasized. A significant limitation was identified in the paucity of publications addressing the practical application of these approaches.
