The case analyzed the methodologies of the current only two Sustainability University rankings, compares them and proposed a Knowledge Management strategy to implement and enhance sustainability practices in higher education institutions. The application of a SECI model approach should be implemented at the University, however the sustainability knowledge is still very basic among the community of students who are not very aware of the University efforts, programs, or related policies. Socialization within the SECI model encourages the sharing of tacit knowledge related to sustainability practices among students and the community in general, some aspects of Circular Economy have been reviewed. The use of sustainability rankings helps in creating a shared understanding and commitment to sustainable goals in the community and validates the use of a Knowledge Management approach to enhance sustainability in higher education institutions.
