Abstract Table tennis resource recycling development method is the concrete realization of applying the circular economy theory into the table tennis filed. It is the response of the goal of "resources economizing" well-off society raised by the Eighteenth National Congress and it is an innovative practice of promoting circular economy to transform the economy and society development method. This paper discusses the connotation of circular economy and on the basis of the relationship between circular economy and table tennis career, this paper raises the concept of table tennis resource recycling development method, and makes a research on its constitutive elements, and finally points out its operation mode. Since the 1960s, there is a very widespread phenomenon of concern in the world competitive sports. The athletes who get excellent results in some sports such as table tennis, swimming and gymnastics are younger. Thus, thousands of children have started the early training of table tennis from 5-6 years. After 10-20 years of specific training, the athletes who can reach the pinnacle of world are just the best ones in thousands of elite athletes. Most of elite athletes have "sacrificed" their youth and years of professional accomplishments and leaved the table tennis circles to obtain the glory of Chinese table tennis.
