| Abstract |
Exploratory research, with the objective of identifying in the literature findings related to transdisciplinary research (PTD) and circular economy (EC), in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, using the search criteria: "transdisciplinary research" OR "transdisciplinarity" AND "circular economy" which resulted in the analysis of 19 documents, without specification of period. With the textual corpus, the titles, abstracts and keywords were read to certify the presence of the descriptors and, later, they were inserted in the Bibliometrix solution to carry out a quantitative/qualitative research. There was a predominance and emphasis of words such as "China", "challengs" and "waste" in the word cloud; in the conceptual map, waste programs, resource management and resource recovery, using bigrams, were associated with economic factors, while words such as social, environmental, ecological and sustainability issues are associated with transdisciplinary research, objective of this research. The article's contribution to the field of investigation was to emphasize the presence of the principles of transdisciplinary research, with regard to social aspects and also the synergy of transdisciplinary research inherent to the effective implementation of the Circular Economy in different areas of knowledge. |
