Abstract |
This study investigates how green economic development depends on natural resource availability in 30 Chinese provinces from 1984 to 2021, using the generalized method of moments (GMM) model. It emphasizes the urgency of changing unsustainable habits that deplete the earth's resources, highlighting overexploitation's negative consequences and the need for conservation measures. The research explores sustainable development's interconnected social, economic, and environmental aspects and discusses the potential of a green economy for achieving sustainability. It suggests shifting from resource-intensive sectors to sustainable alternatives like renewable energy development. Major findings include the impact of resource availability on green economic development and the imperative for sustainable practices to preserve natural resources for future generations. |
