Abstract |
The aim of this study is to explore the potential of traditional eco-packaging for sustainable application in modern society, to explore the ecological value of traditional organic packaging, and to investigate its potential for innovative transformation in modern society. The literature review provides an in-depth understanding of the background and ecological value of traditional eco-packaging. Using theoretical research, case studies and triple bottom line analysis methods, traditional natural packaging products in central China were evaluated in terms of economic, environmental and social dimensions. The results show that traditional eco-packaging, such as plant leaves, performswell in reducing material sources and pollution. Despite the challenges, the modernization and transformation of traditional eco-packaging offers a viable path to sustainable development for the packaging industry. |
