| Abstract |
Aiming at furthering knowledge in three pertinent engineering and innovation topics (circular economy, industry 4.0, and start-ups), this study aims to identify the critical success factors for establishing a circular start-up 4.0. To achieve this goal, three systematic reviews of literature were performed aided by the RBS roadmap method, and their findings were then aggregated in a table of likely critical success factors for said organizations. The main factors found in this study were: access to investment, management commitment, organizational culture, partnerships, team, organizational competency level, infrastructure, and founders' previous experience. Besides furthering knowledge in important fields, this study also indirectly contributes to promoting circularity and ultimately promoting climate change discussions. |
