| Abstract |
This article aims to examine the process of transition to the circular economy driven by the lever of urban planning to restore and remodel the natural and urban environment for the formation of the model of Sustainable Cities. Therefore, this article used the deductive scientific method to guide the achievement of the proposed objective. Additionally, an applied and descriptive research was carried out, in which both a bibliographical and documentary review was used, as well as a case study with an interview, which is, the use of the Sustainable Development Plan for 2018/2030 as a public management lever for insertion of the circular economy in the CONLESTE region. The results obtained with this article may have been fruitful, as they may lead to reflections on the construction process of urban public policies with broad social control to enable the transition to a new productive cycle with the materialization of the right to sustainable cities. |
