| Abstract |
Ferriere Nord started "Zero Waste" project in the middle of 90s. The article shows how the project made it possible to review the process and the destination of secondary materials with a view of circular economy, subtracting large quantities of them to landfill and saving extraction of new raw materials. In particular, the article shows in detail the consolidated case of ladle slag and the new one dealing with the use of carbons obtained from biomass to replace fossil ones. |
