| Abstract |
In order to promote green fmance innovation, the paper suggests a kind of measurement for environmental risk, based on carbon assets of a new technology. As the base of the new measurer, the paper addresses the new assessment dimension, i.e. the carbon asset dimension, for new technology, which is less reduced carbon emission amount than the emission standard of the industry. The carbon asset method could be used for measuring environmental risk for any specific industry dynamically. We apply the suggested method to a typical case, coal ignition technology. The analysis supports the power of the method. The measurer for environmental risk could be applied to green credit, green bonds, and green investment funds as well. |
