Abstract The objective of this study is to analyze how knowledge flows within the new energy vehicle industry alliance impact technology commercialization. The findings will provide valuable guidance for practitioners, managers, and policymakers who seek to rethink, reformulate, and reshape organizational processes in alignment with the United Nations' 2030 Agenda. The commercialization of new energy vehicle technology holds strategic importance for enterprises and contributes to sustainable development by promoting green and low-carbon transformation. From the perspective of the innovation ecosystem and stakeholder theory, this study further investigates the under-researched theme of knowledge flow in the new energy vehicle industry. According to the author's knowledge, this is the first study to analyze the practical application of sustainable development goals under the perspective of stakeholder theory, based on panel data from seven provinces and cities in China, using methods such as index system evaluation and regression analysis. Based on the research findings, technological cooperation within knowledge flow and foreign direct investment would promote the commercialization of technology within the industry alliance. Additionally, the maturity of the innovation ecosystem within the industry alliance has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between knowledge flow and technology commercialization.
