| Abstract |
During a three year-old period in a yellowish Alitic soil of low loamy activity, in San Juan y Martinez tobacco enterprise, a project of technological innovation began on the introduction of a technology to obtain the quantity enough seed of velvet bean associated with corn that allows its introduction sustained in the soils where tobacco is cultivated for its incorporation like green manure, also, seed areas settled down with similar soil characteristics in San Luis and Pinar del Rio tobacco enterprises. Technology was compared with the varying witness that consisted on establishing the leguminous one without associating it with corn. The results obtained in these three areas yielded 1,33 t.ha(-1) of velvet bean seed and 3,0 t.ha(-1) of the dry corn. At the end of the project it was obtained utilities of 18123, 65$.ha(-1)$. ha(-1) and a cost for weight of production of 0,04 $.ha(-1). The soil erosion was protected by technology and its fertility was improved too where the experience settled down. |
