| Abstract |
The age of digital transformation will have a huge impact on industry and society. Design, developing and manufacturing products will be based on the influence of the fourth technological wave with its possibilities in intelligent manufacturing. Against this background, humans also become more aware about anthropogenic environmental influences through today's high level of resource depleting. Hence, the paradigm of circular economy is a second important issue of the fourth technological wave. The concept of the circular economy is considered as an ecological and economical model of the future. Thus, this paper introduce into digital transformation as enabler of intelligent manufacturing and intrinsic opportunity to circular economy. |
