Abstract Office space in Brno continues to register a "building boom". The most important project in this area is the construction of a new complex of buildings in the premises of the former textile factory Vlnena. However, other projects such as the Nova Zbrojovka of CPI Property Group are preparing. The aim of the article is to analyze the most important projects of office and administrative construction that were carried out in Brno in the last years, their current usability and occupancy and the basic economic and spatial parameters (developers, capital, localization, etc.). Then, a brief comparison of the office market in other big cities in the Czech Republic and in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe was made. The main methods used for this article can be considered as a search for specialized literature, sources and information and their comparison, interpretation, evaluation and partial generalization. The results of the analyzes show the strong boom and interest of domestic and foreign investors in the construction of office space in Central and Eastern Europe, the Czech Republic and Brno. The specialty of the Brno office market is a specialization in companies and companies operating in the field of IT, communication technologies, R&D and innovation. Construction takes place both on the green meadow and in the inner city, developers are increasingly interested in unused spaces (brownfields) suitable for office buildings.
