| Abstract |
The paper deals with the current trends in the use of digital, information and communication technologies in Slovak cities in the sense of Smart city concept. The role of these systems is to provide simple and clear evidence and tracking of city performance indicators in areas such as city cleanliness, transport infrastructure, city management, security, health care, culture, sports, and so on.
