| Abstract |
The main purpose is to discuss how to apply 3DGIS and BIM to jointly promote smart city construction. The paper analyses respective characteristics of 3DGIS and BIM and the advantage after the combination of both. Taking Revit and skyline for example, we import the model built by Revit into the skyline with the help of transformation tools. The information of the imported model can be viewed in the skyline. It contains both the space coordinate information and its own information. And it not only has an accurate location in space but also has visual image of internal structure. The combination of 3DGIS and BIM can meet the demand of the refinement and the big data of smart city. It is the developing trend of smart city. |
