Abstract |
In the last decades, there has been increasing interest in urban creativeness among academic researchers and among city planners and experts in economics, culture and media as well. Consequently, there has been more interest in creative cities, in modern, smart, innovative cities. In many works dealing with such issues we find the phrase "creative and/or smart cities", which implies that creative cities are smart as well or that creative cities are identical to the smart ones, having the same dimensions and features. But the question of smart cities should not be confined to IT or to what we call e-government. In our opinion, the analysis and the definition of the smart city implies a relation to urban sociology, urban economics, environmental protection, architecture, a.s.o. |
