Abstract To better reflect the currentness of basic geographic information data for smart city, and reduce the heavy economic and technological burden caused by data updating and maintenance, this article analyzes the status of existing city geographic information systems and proposes the idea of transformation optimization between vector data structure and raster data structure. Then a constrained vector data rasterization method which is suitable for statistical analysis of land area is proposed for business. The experiments indicate that the area error of each polygon should be within a unit mesh area value, which maximizes the accuracy of the geographic data industry applications.
